Q	03/27/06 Topher:  Is the rubber seal around the sender readily available from a parts house? Has anyone tried replacing one without dropping the tank? Do I need a new retainer ring also?
A	03/28/06 440sixpack: I picked mine up from gastanks.com the lock ring you get is very heavy duty better than the one that comes with the sender units they have the gasket also. Never tried replacing them in the car though sounds like you could take a gas bath.
A	03/28/06 Bob C.: I believe it's still available from Chrysler as well. The filler tank gromet still is.
A	03/28/06 Bryan: I have changed mine without dropping tank..done it many times...just have to make sure that fuel level is below sender opening...
A	03/28/06 Bob C: part # 1948757 for gasket and 1730095 for retainer. Same for ALL Mopar tanks for a number of years.
