Joe Lingle: Help!!! Yesterday I installed a new brake booster on my 66 Charger. It was not fun. It is all together but I have a very low pedal. The brakes hardly work. The old booster has an indention were the master cylinder bolted up. It also has a spacer in between booster and master cylinder. I bought the booster from Auto Zone. Tthe booster Auto Zone gave me has no indenTion where the master cylinder bolts up. Should I remove the spacer?

John Mizzi: Try checking the adjustment of push rod to master cilinder. It should be .910 to .920 - If this is not correct you will not push enough fluid to wheel cylinders. Also check for a vacuum leak.
