Fred Davis:Changed over to a 67 master cylinder and put a new power booster on, but can't get the power brakes to work. I've bled brakes, adjusted rod,and still can't make it work. I have vacuum to booster.take off master cylinder and seems to work some. Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Hoopity: I had the same experience with my '67. What I found was the rod between the booster and master was too long. There has to be a little free play there to make sure you have alignment of the piston supply and reservoir (little holes in bottom of master cylinder). The brake failure valve on the '67 rail will fail to one or the other systems.
